The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications from outstanding individuals in all areas of power and energy systems with a focus on grid modeling and operation, power systems with large renewable penetration, digitalization and cybersecurity in power systems, and physical infrastructure at the power system levels.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out high quality scholarly research and collaborate with other faculty, as well as teach undergraduate/graduate courses.

Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree in computer/electrical engineering or a closely related field and demonstrate an ability to conduct outstanding research and education. For senior level applicants, a strong track record in externally funded research and the ability to lead large scale research and educational programs by leveraging diverse departments and university capabilities are critically important.
