The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications from outstanding individuals for a tenure track Assistant Professor faculty position in the area of computer engineering with a focus on novel architectures and systems for neuromorphic computing, quantum computing and other emerging information processing paradigms for applications in machine learning/data science, high-performance computing and advanced computer networking. We are also interested in candidates specializing in the post-CMOS devices and systems for developing novel architectures for these applications as well as for embedded systems, internet-of-things (IoT), and cyber-physical systems.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out high quality scholarly research and collaborate with other faculty, as well as teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree in computer/electrical engineering or a closely related field and must demonstrate an ability to conduct outstanding research and education.
